Guidelines for Exchange Students

After being nominated by your international office (see nomination form below), you will start to prepare your stay. 

Checklist for things you need to prepare in your home country before you set off for Reutlingen:

• After being nominated by your international office, you will get the Letter of Acceptance and the Information Package via Email
• Please read all information in this package carefully including the pre-arrival information we sent you with your letter of acceptance 
• Follow the instruction for the online application on MOVEON4 after you have been nominated and accepted by RTU
• Start to apply for accommodation according to the instructions in the pre-arrival information after you have been nominated and accepted by RTU
• For Eramsus Students: Prepare your Online Learning Agreement with your home institution 
• Organize the proof of health insurance with unlimited coverage for non-EU students or prepare the valid EU health insurance card (EHIC) 
• Check the validitaion of your passport and, if required, organize a valid visa
• Bring enough cash to cover all initial expenses during the first week of your stay.
