Students in the bachelor programme Fashion and Textile Design specialize in either fashion design or textile design. The main objective of the degree programme is to enable students to develop original materials and fashion collections, as well as to develop their practical and creative competence.

Requirements for students are well-developed drawing skills and creative potentials, a good sense of shapes and colors and a curiosity for the world of design. They need to be prepared to meet the challenges arising from the complex requirements of designing fashion and interiors.

The school’s excellent range of textile machinery is of great advantage to students in the conversion of creative ideas into real products. Therefore, the programme comprises of important components like analyzing market demands and customers’ requirements.

Be aware that not all bachelor programmes for exchange students offer English courses. If you intend to study in German, the level B2 is prerequisite for most of the programmes, the level of English knowledge is minimum B2-C1.
