Institute for Foreign Languages

Are you an international student, planning to come to study at Reutlingen University and wanting to prepare yourself, or are you already here and wish to learn German during your studies here?
Or are you a German student who would like to brush up your foreign language skills and so improve your chances on the labour market? Would you like to prepare yourself both linguistically and culturally for a semester abroad? Would you like to improve your language skills by working together with a tandem partner?

The Institute for Foreign Languages, which is part of Reutlingen International Office (RIO), offers courses in nine different languages, as well as a range of workshops - in German and in English - dealing with various aspects of intercultural competence and learning strategies. These courses and workshops are open to all domestic and international students at Reutlingen University.
