Texoversum: a new international dimension for Textiles at Reutlingen University

With start of the Winter Semester 2022/23  the name of the School of Textiles & Design at Reutlingen University will change to TEXOVERSUM School of Textiles. With this new brand name and the opening of the new building (2023), the School of Textiles lays the foundation of a new era for young academics in the national and international Textile Industry.

The foundation Südwesttextil, one of the strongest federations for trade and employment in the textile industry in the south west of Germany, donated this building to the University.

Prof. Dr. Jochen Strähle, Dean of the TEXOVERSUM School of Textiles: "We are very happy and proud to concentrate all our activities under the umbrella brand TEXOVERSUM School of Textiles, this will strengthen our reputation as strong global player: We are creating the world of tomorrow with Textiles".
